i'm not sure if adjusting the engagement on the steering box is going to ward off bump steer. a fresh stabilizer (try OME) helps a bit. best fix is a panhard bar that matches the geometry of your steering stup. any mod that lessens the angle of the drag link will help, too.

Last time I thought my steering box needed to be tightened I found the sector shaft teeth broken. It happened to 3 steering gears and finaly switched to side kick steering.

The steering link is damn neer flat, I really cant do anything more there, Its got an e-locked toy front end with a high-steer kit. Panhard bar eah. . . . . . .

If your drag link is nearly flat, you shouldn't have any bumpsteer. If your shackles and spring bushings are sloppy you will have wander, and a panhard will help with that. My opinion is that if everything is "right", a leaf sprung rig needs a panhard like Michael Jackson needs another nose job.

Definately replace the steering stabilizer if you haven't yet. Then check the trunion bearings and felt gaskets on the knuckle balls.

A new stabilizer made a world of difference on mine.
