Anyone recommend any fab shops in the So Cal area that does good cage work and engine conversions.
Thanx Tommy
Somewhat of a large area, could you narrow it down a little? But FWIW Rigwerks in Oxnard is a decent shop. I don't have a number for them but I can get it tomorrow. PM RacerX or Captain Ron on here they should be able to give you some more info.

He's amazing with electric/harness work, obviously does good tubework as we keep him busy doing that, and when it comes to plumbing, not many are as good as he is.

Dude, there has gotta be something in the P-dale Lancaster area. Areo bending in Lancaster can provide the bent tubing to your specs, but they don't weld.

CHassis Fab, I can get you in contact with Him. He is located in Acton If you get his # without me tell him I sent you. :D then he gives me better deals.
Call me 1-661-510-2350 Mario I'd give you his # but I just bought a new phone so I have to go to his house he lives a couple of blocks from me.
He builds Class 1, truggies for baja, DId the cages on the Kore Dodge baja trucks. He does really good work I can vouch for that.
WHen he built a cage last time he did a mock up cage out of cheap material to see if it was what the customer wanted, made some changes requested by customer and then built it all out of Hrew tubing.

I had some work done there about a year ago, they came in well over the price they quoted, did work that was not requested, and I have had to go elsewhere and have what they did redone. They are a good source for junkyard parts, but I would never trust them to lay a hand on one of my vehicles again.

Hey guys thanx for keeping the tread going. I think it's a great thread for anyone to look at. I had a cage built by Bender in Ridgecrest and I love it. I still need a cage done for my Jeepster so we'll see about that one.
T&J performance can suck my @$^% balls. They f'ed me over with my YJ. They charged me to figure out some issues I was having with the 5.2 Magnum in my YJ and did not do shit but install some injectors. They said it ran 100% after they drove it. I brought the Jeep with just enough gas to get it into their shop and that's the way I picked it up. I know they didn't even take it for a drive. I still have the same issues I brought it to them with. So fuck those guys!

So did they figure your "issues" out or not???? Do you expect them to diagnose your "issues" without charging you???
BTW I have never heard of T&J, and have no affiliation, these vague posts just bug me sometimes.

I didn't exactly drive 2+ hours for them to change my oil and wash it! Of course I don't expect them to do it for free, but I do expect them to do the job I paid them for.
Vague posts bug me too, but people that read bug me even worse.

Yea people who read bug me too.
So did you ever figure out what is actually wrong with your Jeep??? Did you take it back and tell them that the issue was not fixed?
Sorry I missed that last sentence in your post. :homer:

Max I guess I forgot the "don't" part lol. Anyway, I haven't figured it out yet. They are about 2+ hours from me so I just took it in the chin. I met the owner (Tom?) while I was there and he was really arrogant and apparently I wasn't worth his time.
I just try and tell as many people as possible about my dealing with them. I have a small Jeep parts business and sell a lot of parts to people here in So Cal, so tell plenty of people about them. Some people in the Jeep business don't understand how small and close knit the Jeeping community is and word travels fast, especially if it's negative.
I would gladly pay someone to figure it out and fix it. I idles great but as soon as you give it gas it pops back and and won't accelerate only if done very slowly. I think it has something to do with timming advancement.

Does anyone know any shops in the Inland Empire. I am up by Lake Arrowhead... and I need a drag link and possibly a flat knuckle/steering arm...
I have called Mazzulo's Offroad in Highland and All J Products in Big Bear. Does anyone have any experience with these two shops?
