Does anybody know if gm made a mech. linkage style bellhousing for the nv4500? I have one of the factory training manuals for the tranny and it shows the mech. and the hyrd. type bell housings.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no since GM trucks have had hydraulic clutches since, what? '84 or '85?

the bellhousing in question is tagged in the book for a p-chassis step van, like bread truck or chip possible fedex or ups style. My parts guy that can help had a bad heart attack 2 weeks ago so I will have to find another route at the dealer.

If they did, you'll be paying top $$$ for one from GM.
