Just wondering how long it has taken you guys to get your benders. I'm leaning towards the JD2, no hydro yet. I need one pretty darn quickly though.

5 weeks for the bender and 9 weeks for the hydro kit. I was pissed until I used it. Now I'd wait a year just to touch it.

Best tool to go with it from Lowbuck Tools. Get the tubing notcher kit 299.00 and it's worth every penny.

I take it you all have never used a greenlee sidewinder or you can call it a triple nickel greenlee bender? much easier than that old fashioned way:rolleyes:

Took JD2 about 5 weeks to deliver ours. Your best bet is to find their retailers, and call them. They usually have one in stock (you hope) or at least they get better ship times out of the factory.

Got my JD2 w/1.75 die from VanSant and took 4 days...Same $ as JD2 btw...$20 extra shipping cost though (the cost from JD2 to VanSant). Better than 4-5weeks.

Same here. Told me 3-4 weeks, it was 4 weeks.. and I finally assembled it n' such, and it's STILL sitting on the shop floor and has never had a stick of tube put in it yet.. but I have it when I'm finally ready to use it. :)

Plan ahead just doesn't fit into my vocabulary. I'll still have one before next friday. A little hunting around is all it takes. Been on the phone most of the day with several bender manufacturers.
