O.k. I have got the engine for my EB... I bought a 88 bronco with a 351w in it and a paxton Super charger kit. Motor is .015 over and runs great. I have never had a super charger before and have been told all kinds of things.
So with a paxton kit how aggro can I get with cam, compression, stroke ect... i would like 450 hp without NOS and then 600 with it. I am trying to save as much weight as I can on my new EB and still have my BB power so hopefully Im on the right track.

The blower shouldnt limit what parts you want to use as long as you feed it enough fuel.

more fuel on a efi engine means bigger injectors but who do you go to to find all this out as far as size ect..? I want it to run smooth enough not to throw check engine light... Has anyone stroked a efi windsor with a 393 kit?
I think with the paxton and a stroker kit and gt heads I can hit my 450 mark...then juice... but the efi could be tricky.

I'd go to the Corral board and do some research there. Those guys know their stuff. corral.net (http://www.corral.net)

Mike call Steve at Performace Fab in San Carlos. All he does is build hot rods, and I am not talking about those bolt together small things, but the full tube cahssis Alchahol running cars.

Sh!t getting 450hp out of a 351 is not all that hard to do when you start with a 70's 351 as far as the 88 you are now in the smog ball game. I am running a 70 351w in my 73 and it is all chevy TBI even down to a D.U.I. HEI system and it puts out 450 on a dyno. Runs great (low range118-1 at idle you can not kill it) and the only time the engine light comes on is if their is a prob. Why do you want 600 on juice? Mud-sand or just to have it? Is this going into an EB or staying in the 88? If the EB were is it going to fit?

yes ask question on the corral.net they have a BUNCH of people on there that will answer your questions. I've asked numerous one there...... from what i understand with a Blower you don't need as aggresive of a cam because the blower causes the cam to "ACT" bigger than it is by keeping the valves open longer.

I am not a engine gurue but does'nt a super charger just force more air in to the head while the valve is open, not keep it open longer? And how are they on producing more heat? Because w/ a 351 it is hard enough as is!

A mass air kit will cure all ills.

The selection of injector size will depend on the estimated horsepower output, brake specific fuel consumption BSFC (assume 0.5), no. of cylinders, and the injector duty cycle (assume 80% or 0.8). The formula is:
Injector size (lb/hr) = (horsepower x 0.5)/(no.of cylinders x 0.8)
The injector flow rate varies as the square root of the pressure drop across the injector

i have a stock 92 with 6-7 psi Vortech. Is not 450hp but wouldn't be that hard to get their. Best ford shop around here is B&D racing. They specialize in the 5.0.
