I have a factory converted van chassis. It is a 1980 that has a Pathfinder kit in it.

The adaptor to the transfercase is real long, like maybe a foot.

Does anyone know if they used a spud shaft to adapt or what they did?

I have a friend that wants the transmission, but only if he can bolt it into his truck which uses the C6 / 205 factory set-up.

If he has to remove the output shaft etc. He does not want it.

I'm willing to bet your setup uses a 4x2 C6 that they just built an adapter for. The 4x2 and 4x4 C6's use the same output shaft, the 4x2 one is just about 5" longer than a 4x4 one.
