I have been working with the wiring diagram all night. Trying to figure out which wire will recharge my battery. Any suggestions.
I have the IC regulator type alternator with the regulator on the fender.

i would recommend getting an internally regulated alternator from a late 90s rig. the less wiring the better. another option would be a gm alternator in the 3 wire or 1 wire configuration.

The internally regulated Toy unit is easy to get to charge but if you have to buy another alt. I would buy a GM one.If you need info on the Toy wiring pm me.

What vehicle did the GM one wire come in. I have it on my samurai. I cannot remember where it came from.
I wouldnt want the local advance or auto zone guy to have to work hard for me or have any hot rod or custom knowledge.
