i used ATF at first, and then switched to redline MTF and it shifts MUCH smoother.
I had a 91 350 that leaked atf like a siv. So I started putting 90 wieght in it for a 50/50 mix. The tranny is still good with 300,000 miles on it.
However I have heard from a lot of folks that that is a terrible idea. As well as a terrible thing to do to a trans.
