Went out to Johnson Valley last night for the first hard core test run to see where the weak links are. Needless to say I got chewed up and barely spit out! Only got through Sledge and Jack when power steering pump hose took a dump on me and was spewing everywhere. Hit a huge rock at speed when heading back to the lake bed and broke my tie rod, and tacoed my driver's side side link and caved in the shock body. Managed to rip apart the limiting straps in the rear as well. Also put a hole in my 39.5. Width of the rockwells are kind of a killer but I'll get used to it. Other than that it was fun. Gotta beef it all up and head out again for some more testing. It's no fun trying to steering using only the ram with a broken tie rod. Made for some excitement loading it on the trailer!
