I was in my local shop and found a 12 gauge model 37 featherlite, still in good shape price was in the low $300s not too bad. Found some online with english stocks but were a lot more. I would kinda prefer the enlish stock but not for the difference in money anyone know of anyone that makes replacement furniture? Any pearls of wisdom they seem like a real nice gun.

I really like them.
Unfortunately most of the ones I find are full choke, which is not my preference on squirrel, rabbit, grouse, and other small game.
I shoot modifed in about everything I own.

If you like English stocks have you looked at the Browning BPS "Upland Special"? Nice for pheasant hunting. I think they come in 22", 24" and 26". The 22" barrel points fast. Bottom eject like an Ithaca 37, tang safety like a Mossberg 500. You can find them used/not abused in the 300's, so price is about on par with what you're looking at.

Not a real popular shotgun, so it may take a while to find a good deal on a used one. Worth the wait IMO. Don't let MSRP listed on Browning's site scare you off - they aren't really that expensive.

BPS's are great, especially if your left handed :flipoff2:
