I need more $$$$....
In fact, I need a job, or at least more work....

Truck currently needs:
Gas tanks cleaned & lined due to some rust.
Radiator Hot Tanked due to rust.
New Water Pump, due to rust (I've been to several shops w/no luck, seems it's difficult to find an identical twin. Chevy 350, go figure?)
Buy & replace Clutch Slave
Replace Brake MC (have new one)
Clean all brake & fuel lines.

The list gets longer every day.....

You're having a hard time finding a water pump for a SBC? Where the hell am I moving to? BFE?!?!? sheesh. Those are cheap too ;)

I think it's more or less the people working in the parts stores....
They can't find it on the shelf (F-n Morons)...
They find similar ones, but never an exact match...

I haven't been to Napa or Carquest yet, so we'll see....

No they are still the sheet. Mike, OS is right, they are pricey but are one of the few shops that will:

*Take the time to match a part by sight

*Use the books to look up the part

*Make an effort to track your part down (I've to tell them to stop wasting so much of their time on a $4 part)

*If you tell them you have a 345 they know it's from an International.

*Carry a good number of IH parts in stock. (They had my water pump and exhaust gaskets in stock)

Actually, no they haven't...
However, they didn't have it on the shelf, & he'd have to order it.
I was going to go in during the next week to order it & see if they get the correct one....

I know, I know...
But they pulled out 6 different versions, none were a perfect match.
First, mine has an extra output for the heater.
Second, the size was off. The current pump profile is fairly low, I can't bolt the other one because it would hit the radiator.
Third, the bolt holes don't line up for the pulley & fan (mine are closer to the center).

The number on is GM21/3782608
The Piss Boys people couldn't even find it in their system.
