Might want to look at the IOR 4x CQB M2.. They run from about 375 from USAoptics. I got to shoot one this weekend and it was damn nice and clear.

Nice. Did you get a chance to shoot it? Thoughts? Thats what I'm currently looking at but I think its out of my price range as I cant justify spending more on optics than my rifle.

I put ~600 rounds through it last night and sighted in the Docter. One word: FAWESOME! By far my favorite scope. I doubt I will ever get rid of it, IMO it is the perfect blend of close range and longe range vision. It takes a few magazines to get used to the switch between ACOG and Docter, but after that it's absolutely perfect. Here is a picture of the AR that it is mouned on...
