Can you get the new joints now?
How much are they?

are D44 joints the same as D30?
If so can you use the 5-760x joint in a D30?
I run D44's but is it worth it for a Jeep guy to upgarde to a D44 from a 30? What other options does he have besides going right to a 60. He only want to run 35's.

I've been running um now for a few months. I broke the first one three weeks ago, but it may have been due to a damaged stub, which had gone through a busted 5-297 a few weeks before that. Freash axles, and now am running 1ea 5-760, and 1ea 5-297 we will see what lasts.
