doing an alignment on my rig, has a '83 chev 10 bolt. Finished up new upper and lower balljoints, went to do an alignment and now those insert suckers wont budge. I'm using the proper 4-pronged socket, the socket ended up twisting out before the insert budged. Tried lightly tapping a round chiesel in there, no dice. Any suggestions?
the upper nut is off, lower balljoint is still toruqed.

i used a wrench and a cheater pipe, wrench started to sweat a little, but it worked. applying heat would help but it'd probably spoil your ball joint

do the b/j's hit and sit right? they should both fit in at the same time, if they do dont worry about it. if not soak them down with pb/wd40.... for a few days first.

What i meant to say is those little threaded inserts in the upper part of the C wont budge, im figuring i gotta take the whole thing apart and chiesel it out. Any tips or tricks to avoid dis-assebmly?
