My 97 vortec 454 is throwing codes that both bank one and two are lean. I will try to get the numbers soon. It also through a MAF sensor code but I cleaned that and erased all the codes and it didnt come back up. Any ideas, truck seems to have a slight miss at idle and is getting even worse than normal fuel milage?? thanks in advance Ryan

change the fuel filter and run some cleaner thru it. those injectors have a tendency to gum up

So the codes I got today are

P0171 fuel system lean B1
P0174 fuel system lean B2


I have cleaned the MAF and even swapped it for another.

Replace the fuel filter!!!!every 15k!!!chevy trucks are common for these codes!!!4.3 5.7 7.4 it doesnt matter!!!!

Usually they throw a misfire code with the injectors start to crap out.

fuel filter and or pump. check out the intake for any leaks.

I had a cylinder mis fire on 1 and 8 at 4250 rpm once. IM going to check fuel pressure tonight and see.

check for vacume leaks
