I'm looking at an 01 2500HD LS. It is 6.0 CC SB 4x4. Has cloth seats(bench in front) and 78K miles. Dealer is asking $17,900. It is VERY clean and is exactly what I am looking for. What are trucks like this going for around the country? I just started looking today so I haven't seen enough to compare, but edmunds.com lists it at just under $14K dealer retail, which sounds pretty low.

18k is a good price......................if it was a duramax.

too much $ if its a 6.0! Probably worth maybe 14.

I bought an 01 CC SB 2500HD LS 4x4, 6.0w/ 62k , loaded, cloth seats- captains chairs in front, snow plow prep package, rhino liner, for $17,200 in spring of 07. FYI, fuel milage sucks - 12mph all the time, loaded or not

WTF?

That truck should be $13.5K tops... probably less due to the bench seat being a less than desireable setup.

With prices like that, you should find a new dealer, or a good supply of KY lube.

find another dealer, just bought a 2004 GMC 2500 SLT, Crew Cab, leather and every available option you could get on an SLT, with 6.0/4l80e, w/ 60,000 miles on it. we paid 13.5k for it.

Id also say its to high since a new 07/08 can be be had for 26k. I wouldnt pay more that 14k MAX, but it has to have under 60k miles also. Im a fan of the front 60/40 bench myself.
