How much for the motor, complete...... How many miles and are the headgaskets good or have they been replaced????

170k on the motor. I've had it since 140k. Previous owner said the headgaskets have never been replaced. I've never had any headgasket problems. Before I did the t-belt I did a compression test. I forget the exact numbers, but it was even across the cylinders. Motor ran great after t-belt. Then one day I fired it up and it sounded like it was missing. Let it run for a few minutes and fuel started leaking. One of the injectors is leaking. I guess thats my fault for not using vaseline when installing the new o-rings on the injectors.

$600 for the complete engine.

being an 88 it should not have head gaskets issues due to the fact that they did not start using the bs gaskets until the second half of 89.:D

I've never shipped anything this big before. I do get a discount with DHL if they will ship it. I'd have to get it pulled and weighed before I could tell you a shipping price. If DHL wont ship it, then I guess forward air.

It wont even give me a quote for anything over 100 pounds.
