stupic clutch bs

still having problems with my clutch not dissengaging so i went down to the parts store and hade them pull the different clutch/preasure plate combos

so heres what i had that wouldnt work 79 k30 motor/flywheel/clutch/preasure plate with 88 v30 4spd bellhousing/slave and master

the 88 v30 preasure plate and clutch are same size but slightly different in the width of the preasure plate (shorter)

im speculating because i have checked everything and nothing changed right now my tranny is bolted to the bellhousing with no flywheel and it spins freely so i know its not bottomed on the pilot bushing

anything else you guys might see that might not work together

haha fixed it my bad ADD from HELL

GM had a few different length throw out brgs so maybe a longer one is what you need.Now they had different surfaces for diaphram or finger style p.plate also.

Wrong style pressure plate for hydro clutch or clutch disc in back wards.
Wich jams the springs on disc into flywheel bolts .

so what flywheel would i use? the ones that had hydro clutches had 2 peice rear mains and therefore different bolt patern on the crank right?
