First off, I did a quick search which yeilded me no results I could use.
I have a Th350 out of a 1980 GMC Jimmy that I am putting into my samurai, and I am about at the point to build a transmission crossmember. I picked up the mount and the bolts for the mount to crossmember, but I dont know what size bolts to pick up for the mount to transmission. Any ideas?
I do thank you.

At least 3/8'' or 10 mm. Length depending on your x-member. 2 bolts per side

Im sorry, I was refering to the thread pitch of the bolts. The crossmember will be a custom one.
Thanks for your input.

memory going blank here....
Im talking about the bolts that go into the transfer case adapter... Generally 80 and earlier would have the 1/2 bolt, no?
I realize that the bolts that hold the standard 2wd mount to the bottom of the th350 are 7/16 or metric. I understood the question to mean the adapter...
was I wrong?

No you weren't wrong about those. It would help more if CZ was a little more accurate in what he was looking for

I meant the transmission mount (the rubber isolator peice) to the transmission. I figured it out, on mine its a 3/8 x 16.
Thanks for your input guys.

try a 7/16 there... or a metric bolt... 8mmx10 thread pitch,I think...
GM didnt use 3/8 bolts to hold the trans mount to the trans... they used em to hold the trans to the crossmember in some cases, but not to the trans mount at the case.
