Ok... I need a whole new exhaust system, mines shot. I was woundering and I did search this...nothin, what do you guy's think is better for water crossing or deep mud holes: Hummer/Unimog type exhaust routing were it goes up the rear wheel well and then back down and out the back or back side? Or is just running it like normal exhaust would be run? Or does it even make a difference?

I dont think it makes much of a differents, just chop off the exhaust just before the cat and strait pipe it to a 30 inch glasspack.. the sound is *Bling Bling* and you can't eeek much more clearance outa it.. and really there hasnt been many time where I have tagged my exhast muffler where I didnt deserve it.. (its pretty high up there stock and there are much lower things like frame rails and tcases and cross members..
just my humble Op

I've had ours under some deep water before. Your primary concern should be the intake. As long as the engine stays running, there's enough pressure to keep the water from going up your exhaust to damage components.
We've also tried running without the Cat's before. Didn't notice any power gain at all and perhaps even a loss of low end torque. What we did notice more of without the cat is backfiring. Both times I've removed them on my Zuks I ended up putting them back for the backfiring problem.
