Chrisjeep7 06-27-2002, 08:43 PM i just got done putting on a brand new rancho 5012 on my jeep. it was outa the box for 10 mins than bam! this damn tree stump comes outa nowere and hit my jeep...the best part is that i ripped the tree stump outa the ground...let that be a lesson to the rest of you tree stumps! Teach you to buy those cheapo 5000s - get 9000s next time and that won't happen!:p :p :D :D :p :p Sillyneck 06-28-2002, 10:06 AM :D bwahahahhaa damn tree stumps. you should just get 48's. then you can yell at the whole tree :D Chrisjeep7 06-28-2002, 11:43 AM no it don’t slide up or down....it drove like hell on the way home! this is what happened...i was climbing a steep ass muddy hill at full tilt when i got near the top the ruts kick me sideways and into a 1.5' stump that i climbed right over with my front tires (thanks locker) but the back was not so lucky all of the sudden BOOM i stop all forward movement thanks to the stump so i have to back up...well i just slide and of course it whacks my shock.....DOH! i have blown motors and tyrannies b4 and i did not whine...they had it coming, but the poor shock....such a short life.....
