Grooving Michelin XLs [Archive]

I am looking to regroove the stock Michelin XL pattern. I know they are regroovable but how much more rubber can I take out? The are 16x9.00s

Are you looking to just groove the main tread blocks, or to actually "RE-groove" by cutting the existing tread pattern in deeper?

For cutting a new pattern I believe you can go as deep as the existing tread cuts. For cutting the existing tread deeper, I know you can do that on many heavy truck tires, but the depths are different for each tire. best bet is to contact a michelin dealer.
