Woo Hoo! :flipoff2: A bunch of friends and I are heading for a weekend of fun in the dunes at high noon today. :smokin: Were taking the Cruiser, a Foreman 4x4 quad, and a CR480. I was going to bring the new DRZ too, but with the 480 and all I don't think that I would be riding it much.

buncha my buddies went, if you saw a white ford ranger(newer) thats prerunnerish lookin and a new black F150 4x4 then thats them, i think they probly had a black toyota with white front fenders with them. i woulda gone but im broke and gotta work anyway

Oh man does Pismo ROCK! You're right Snackshack. There's nothing like dune jumping! The sand is quit forgiving when you, er uh, I fall off! :D :flipoff2:

Brad I didn't happen to see your buds that I know of, but who know's? Maybe I did. I did see a few collisions though.

On the way down driving through Solodad a train took out a semi! It cut the trailer in two and wrapped it aroung the front of the engine! :eek: Then Saturday we saw a head on collision between a big new Chevy and an old Ford Ranger. The Ranger just came racing up the dune and the Chevy was approaching the top of the dune when we heard this loud BAM! No one was seriously hurt, but both trucks were fawked! Sunday we were at camp having lunch and a 13 year old chick crashed a quad into the side of a new Ford crew cab that didn't even have plates on it yet! Opps!

The baddest rig we saw was a hummer with a set of those $25,000 bolt on tracks!! That thing looked trick, but the guy said they didn't climb to well and were better suited for snow. It still looked bad ass cruising over the dunes though. Everybody just stopped to watch it.

I can't wait for the next trip!

they got back yesterday, buddy told me about the hummer with the traxx,some dude stuck upto his frame, a brand new truck that nosedived off the dunes,and a buncha other crazy shit too. i wish i woulda gone but i needed money. did you by chance see a blue YJ broke down on the way home? dude blew his rear driveshaft so he was drivin in front wheel and he discoed his vaccum so that his front would only have one wheel drving and then the gears(probly spiders) blew and my buddy had to tow him home on a rented car trailer :shaking: dumbass, hes broke his jeep bad more than once and this time pretty freakin far from home. if my buddy woulda had his other truck v6 ranger, dude woulda been SOL. cuz i doubt a v6 ranger or a 4cyl one could tow him home LOL. oh well theres always next time:D
