Looking for the part number for a u-joint so I know what to ask for-

cap dia, 1.125/1.188
3.625 width all around

It's a variation of a 1330/1350 crossover joint but dunno the exact part number.

Are you sure you want a joint to go from 1330 special to 1350? I show from 1330 standard to 1350 which is 5-648x (1.062/1.188 caps) but not one for the special(but you could get a 5-1204x and a 5-648x and mix and match the caps to get what you want. Personally I think it is worth the couple extra bucks to have the yoke changed on the driveshaft so you can run a standard ujoint.

Actually, it's the driveshaft that has the 1350 yoke and the axle yoke that is 1.125. It's a 1986 Ford 10.25 axle yoke. I trashed two standard 1330/1350 u-joints in less than 300 miles before I finally took out the caliper and measured the axle yoke to get a definate measurement.

Well the only way I see you making your combo joint is with the two I already mentioned. I will look at work tomorrow and see if there is a 1350 yoke for the sterling and post the part number so you can fix'er up right.

hmm, now I wounder who blackjack might be, lets see, in Anchorage, works at a drive line shop in AK, there are only two in Anchorage, and he dont work at one <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> ...

The yoke you need is a E7TZ4851A.

Thanks for the info. I went to my usual driveline place and the guy confirmed it, no off-the-shelf joint available so he simply took a 1330/1350 joint and swapped out the smaller caps for the right ones and off I went.
