If they're 8-lug rims with the same 8-lug pattern of the hubs, then yes they will fit, with some effort, assuming they don't have some crazy backspacing.

You will have to grind the calipers down a bit to make the rims clear without rubbing. I believe it has been documented on here before, so search and you'll find a lot of info. The amount you'll have to grind will be dependent on the amount of offset your rims have.

A bit of advice would be to NOT mount a tire onto the rim UNTIL you've grinded down the calipers enough for clearance. By not putting a tire on the rim, you can save yourself a lot of effort while you're constantly swapping the rim while checking for clearance.

i spent 3/4hr looking and could not find any thing.. the rim will fit over the hubs/lugs and it has a 41/4 back spaceing i just did not know if i could grind that much off the calipers..

try it, if it rubs, grind or get larger rims.

There's always a conversion kit for sale on ebay that gives you a bracket and K-20/30 rotors and calipers, and you can run 15" wheels on them. You may need to run 9/16" studs and ream your hub flange out because that's what the GM rotors use. Don't know why that wasn't suggested. I hope I'm not in for a flaming. Its a lot more work pulling it down to the knuckles to do. Maybe that's it.

People here tried to help you even though you chose one of the most covered topics on the planet knowing that you didn't know that. people have been struggling with putting 15" wheels on F-250's since 1972 when they first came out with disc brakes. I suppose that was the only question on Fords you were going to have, because I think you just burnt the bridge back to here. Btw, I was just identifying an alternative if you wanted some extra work. These guys were trying to save you some time and money. Have a merry Christmas.

Search is open to everyone, no star needed, just a little bit of common fucking sense

F250s got discs a little later than that, 76 I believe.

The OP will get no help from me with that attitude, normally I'm more than willing to help if I know the answer, I this case I have been down that road but I could give a shit if he ever gets it to work.:flipoff2:

You are talking 4 wheel drive. The 2 wheel drives got front disc brakes in 1972 and that's where the fun began.

Yep, I was thinking 4wd, I've never messed with the 2wd stuff, not yet anyway, I keep thinking a 67-72 2wd truck with a stroker smallblock and lots of travel would be a blast at the dunes.:D

In fact I just read some of them today, as this thread got me thinking of the same thing with my Dana 60.
(I'm looking at Chevy knuckles though)

Keep searching, and make sure you read all the links from Bill's Dana 60 bible.
and if you think 3/4 of an hour is a lot... You should see the time I've into the Expert site.
