for all its worth a used engine/trans from junk yard what
auto trans. and engine would go on my truck .there are lots

There was a auto that came in a few 85 sr5 trucks, I have seen onw here in MN. I do not know where it currently is, but it was factory installed, and on a non-modified truck. If you look around you may find one, I guess I would contact Mr. Marlin, he seems to know where just about anything is that one could want to put on their truck, he may have one lying around. who knows...
