Pete's pics of his wagon got me to thinking.

I need to build me a box that will hold say 6 long guns and some mags etc.

What have you built that is functional and reasonable to haul around ?

Mine is 48x24x12 1/8 steel.
I can fit 8-10 rifles in it, packed carefully.
Holes in the bottom so I can bolt it down. makes a great secure storage in the Rover.
Also can bolt it down to lags in the garage floor so its a back up to my main safe.
It fits perfect in my garden wagon, with room along the side for ammo cans.

Sportsmans Guide had some old missile/launcher whatever boxes that were 6"Hx20"Wx48"T or there abouts that work well. They weren't waterproof and required additional padding, but those metal boxes close tight and take a beating.

I would like to build my own for the truck behind the seat....
