Has anybody heard of the C6 tranny kicking out of gear on steep climbs? If so what the fix is thanks. One person toll me that and he put a 5 speed in to fix it.

The first thing that comes to mind is that it is low on fluid. If its anything else, it probably doesn't have anything to do with the hill. If its dropping out under heavy load, the seals and/or clutches may be worn to the point of needing a rebuild. The C6 doesn't need to be replaced by a manual unless that is your preference. It can hold its own with the big boys when right.
