Actually I'd like to thank everyone who steered me in the right direction regarding my hard starting problem.

After charging my batt, I ran a wire from it to the coil, turned it over a few times (to get gas flowing after sitting idle for 3 months) let it sit for a few more minutes (to allow the batt to get a better charge) then turned it over agian, pumped the gas twice and it fired right up!!!:bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:

I giggled like a school girl just for you tom.

I'm a little :emb3: now, looking back at what I thought was the problem. But thanks again guys I owe you all

Well I still need to put my taillights in get my brakes working, add the longer front shackles (yes I did have BIGGER ones made), remove the front blocks, and register it. THEN I CAN drive it, but can't/wont' wheel it yet.

I still need a longer front shaft (I THINK) and need to add my CV to the rear of the scout.

Of course I still need the usual new rad. hoses new belts, I just found out my old batt won't hold a charge anymore.....etc.etc..

But at least I'm getting down to DETAILS and I don't have many more MANDATORY major projects.

There must be something going around, I went to start mine last night and that 6 month old battery is shot. It goes back for a refund.
What did you do with the e-brake cables when you did the soa? With the axle swap and soa my cables are to short and I would need ridiculously long brackets and they would still limit what little flex I have now.

I'm eliminating my E-brake cable. I may run one off the back of the X-fer case in the DISTANT future.
