during a 3 year period about 12-15 years ago, I was buying all the H&R single shot shotguns I could get for under $45 at gunshows...12 & 20 ga...

I cut the bbls off just in front of the chamber, bored it out, threaded it and made centerfire rifles out of them that I sold for $175-250 at gunshows...scope mounts drilled and tapped right into the bbl/receiver...223-22/250-220swift-243-270-300winmag-308...lost count how many I did...BATFE told me to make sure the lower was locked in a separate safe while I was working the bbls or I could be handling a SBS...
