restofying a model 37 12ga single shot for Bev's grand dad. going to do all the metal in a nice black duracoat and refinish all the wood but this forend is kinda fucked and the stock will need steaming.
No one has them in stock from what I have found.

Can you remake one from a blank? There's a McLellons (IIRC) down past 5 points that sells all kinds of wood that you can't get at HD and Lowes.

My roomate and his Dad have quite the collection of 37's and they've never been able to find any wood for them. I think the only gauge they don't own is twelve and my roomate kicks himself anytime I bring it up. There was a really nice one at a gun show and I offered to loan him the money to buy it, but he said no. We haven't seen one that nice for that price since.

Looks like Numrich is out of stocks but has fore arms.
Like all their stuff, they aren't cheap.
