I just got my 60 in and I am getting a noise when coasting it sounds like gears meshing does not sound like anything breaking but I know it is not rite the entire rear end is new and the drive line was shortened I am guessing the pinion any other ideas? I am hoping to not have to pull it apart to far. My rear brakes are draging a slight bit because the pads were a bit to thick and were a press fit on the rotor I don't think it matters to the noise though.

I'd pull the cover and check the pattern, if something is wrong with the gear set-up and you drive it too much the gears will be screwed. Hit those brake pads with a belt sander before you drive too far.

The pattern could be okay, but check your pinion bearing preload(drag), that is usually the loudest whine when it is too tight.
