Im looking for a buis for my 20" AR, and Im thinking the YHM A2 folding style.http://yankeehill.bizland.com/store/media/YHM-9680.jpg Anyone have any input on them? Price is a factor for me so thats about as expensive as I can go. Im building this gun on a college student budget...

Also anyone tried ProMag buis'? Theres a few on sportsman's guide and they look like knockoffs but I was wondering if anyone knew how they held up?

The YHM works fine.

That ProMag one looks like a chinese airsoft knockoff of a GG&G sight.

I have a Troy rear BUIS that I love...I don't know how the price compares to YHM, however.

If you are going to mount a scope on that AR, you might want to think about an ARMS 40L-SP They sit low so you can have the rear objective clear the folded down buis

My next question is anyone know where to find a good deal on a new/used YHM a2 buis? Best Ive found is $68 new shipped and $65 used shipped. Ive been searching ARF.com for 2 weeks looking for a better deal I had one for $45 shipped but the guy backed out...:mad3:

I also found a used A.R.M.S. #40 for $80 shipped on another site. Is that a good deal?

$70 was my budget since I still have other things that I need to help with my BRD. But $80 for an ARMS doesn't sound too bad. I figured that for $45 for a used YHM I could snag a few mags or something to make up the difference i my $70 budget and that really sounded good.

edit: as for now its going to have a Bushnell 4-12x40 that I had sitting around on it, but I think I might look into a tacpoint/sightmark aimpoint clone. This is my plinking and occasional coyote gun so its nothing Im resting my life on its just a fun thing.

I just ordered a whole parts kit for a new upper build from SRP(aloharover) and his prices are better than anybodes, his nikon scope prices cant be beat (even by some clown on e-bay)

i use an arms buis. i have had it for years and it has worked fine. i think it is the #40l. the description sounds the same but it doesn't look exactly the same. they may have changed it a little bit over the years.

There's this guy on here

I deal in YHM, MI, GGG, and A.R.M.S..
I think that might eb the 40 in the photo.
40L sits even lower. The 40L-SP is the same thing with same plain aperatures.

The YHM is 70 shipped. If you find it for less let me know where.
