The rear is axle 8.8. trans is some AOD, I can't remember the number, E4OD I think. Hp is around 200+ something. and Tq is 250 or so.

Not sure on exact number but the 302 doesnt have much.(lots of parts available though) Tranny is probobly, M5OD-R2 five speed( if its not an auto), Rear is an 8.8 if it is stock. they are ok as long as you upgrade them. One nice thing is that there is no split for the gear ratios.

I am running a 92 bronco with 35's and the stock axles but with 4.56 gears and i have have not had a problem yet the drive train is tough. and the moter is very relible and mine has over 400.000KM on it.

you dont wheel it hard enough then :flipoff2:. i broke my entire drivetrain with 33s and a 6 cylinder.
if its an auto, it would be and E40D. good tranny, if you take care of it. if you abuse it, it will let you know - several thousand dollars later...

Does it have pushbutton O/D cancel(E4OD) or OD/D/1(AOD) for a shift pattern?
Rear end is a Ford 8.8, front is a twin traction beam(independent) HP44.
The 5.0 is 185HP @ 3800 rpm, 270FT/LB @ 2400 rpm(and, it ain't got shit below that...)

Transmission should be an AOD, since its a 90 and behind a 302. Look at the shift pattern, if it is 1,d,OD then its an AOD, as 82F100 said.Driveline is pretty stout but im sure i would trust over 35's with the 8.8. And i had 33's on my 90 with stock gearing, it was a SLUG, the 5.0 doesnt get those bigger tires moving well with stock gearing.
Have fun with her, mine took a beating pretty well in sand, mud, rocks, and held up pretty good.
