I'd like to ad a tilt column to a '68 Jeepster. What would be the best donor? It doesn't have the ignition on the column or any transmission levers.

Here are a couple from car-part.com. These are GM column, search used was for an 89 Cavalier, floor shift, dash mounted wipers. Use the column ignition swith, and get the chassies side plug for the wiring harness and splice that into your Jeepster wiring. Wiring diagrams are not hard to find, and the color codes for wires are consistant for GM. Don't cut the plug off the column this way. You can also use the column dimmer. Put a accessory toggle where your ignition switch was.

Does your Jeepster have saginaw steering? If not you may want to switch now also.
