Has anyone ordered firearms from www.impactguns.com ? Their prices seem to fall into the "too good to be true" on their long rifles.
Are there any hidden fees in transferring them to your local dealer? How receptive have your local dealer(s) been to receiving the firearms and doing the transfer?
They have some pretty sweet deals on their scopes too. Anyone buy scopes or other optics from them? Prices almost seem gray market....
Thanks!

I'm not too sure that the prices are too low, however I don't buy too many new guns. The only comparison that I can make off of the top of my head is to my CZ, and I paid far less for my CZ-527 then the price that they have listed on their site.
Discuss transfers with your local dealer. I usually use one here in town and he cuts me a sweet deal, $5 per transfer. Normally he charges $25. However, the other dealer that is willing to do it charges between $60 and $75 to do it.

Good info on the transfer rates. I will have to hit up a few of the local gun shops to see what the rates are.
I am looking at a new rifle. specifically a Tikka T3 Lite in stainless. They are running around $100 cheaper than my local gun shop.

You will burn up most, if not all of the $100 by the time you have it shipped and transfered. I would go to your local shop, especially if it is a mom a pop type place. The Tikkas are supposed to be quite accurate, however, I just cannot love plastic parts on a rifle.

So far Pete has the best prices around. He has beat every single place I have ever looked, and on the one or two items he couldnt, he told me so.

$100? How do you figure?
