Should be firing it up next week, then off to the muffler shop.
Now.. If I can only figure out whether I should go with 2-chamger or 3-chamer flowmasters.. thoughts (I'm routing the exhaust so they exit at the front of the rear wheels. I'm going to run them THROUGH the cross member (yes, through), so they will hug the floorboards as close as possible). Had to relocate the battery to the rear, and almost definitly going to have clerance issues with the hood (functional cowl induction should remedy that), but the project is almost there.

Anyway, here's the pics:

Novak weld-in.
I originally was going to go with a lower-profile intake + injection, but ran out of $$$. So The mounts were'nt put in the most ideal spot for this.

I went with the edlebrock intake with a holly projection. Just used a drop down aircleaner assembly too just clear it. I think I have about 2 inches or so..

I'm going to try a low profile air cleaner. It MIGHT clear. And I'm not that concerned even if it doesn't. Cowl induction would be cool...

Do you have a write-up on your build? I'd love to see it.

im in NY, long island. Mine will still be street legal... for now, anyway.
I picked up a zj 5.9, and the need to keep the xj legal does really exist anymore...

BTW-- how do you like the 60's? I'm thinking of going with ford 9" front and rear..
