just wanted to see if anyone is interested in getting a set of arms that will be available soon .they will be for a d60 kingpin and will have some taper in them so you will be able to run humvee rims with no matter what kind of backspacing. prices will be very competive with the rest...oh ya sorry to not mention they will be for 1 ton tie rod ends not heims...
let me know guys

So are the steering arms the only thing keepint Hummer rims from fitting on a Dana 60? I thought the brakes would interfere too...

no brakes have no interferance at all.the stock steering knuckle has to be grinded a little or just slice it off and run high steer.now when you run high steer you may get some rubbing on the arms and you may not it all depends .but i am going to be making some arms that will for sure not have and clearance issues at all something similar to these arms but no where near that price
http://www.jeepxtremes.com/d60arms.htm
and they will be made for tie rod ends not those crappy 3/4 heims with grease fitting junk(no offense if anyone is running that style)just my jp is a dd and i need tie ends...

Interesting to know... I thought there were other clearance issues besides the steering arm.

I am interested a price for your arms, but to be honest - will probably make a set for myself since I am so cheap :p

hahahahah! ya i hear ya.most guys on here are cheap as fawk and a couple also make there own shit.it's not like im going to strike it rich from the arms but i just kinda wanna make some cash back from spending it on,laser cutting and comuter auto cad designing and just shit like that ya know...
the humvee rims are 16.5 inches so you can run the 1 ton brakes with no problem what so ever...if you didnt know,but im sure ya do...:beer:

no exact ETA on them but you can run the humvee's on any d60 and they will still work fine...

I would be interested in both a price of the completed arms and price for a copy of your drawings:D

I may be interested if they are beefy, attach with factory style studs with tappered cones, and reasonably priced. Otherwise I'm gonna make my own.

no cones....no hardware....just the arms you want them cheap and all that...they will be 7/8 and they will come with spacers for the kingpin...working on them right now prolly sell at around 200$ the set...

Why would you want special arms with dually hubs and hummer rims? With hummer rims and dually hubs, it makes it regular fullwidth anyway, like if you had single wheel, and a regular backspacing, like 2-3". Everything would clear fine. :question:

true ... the front has spacers from the factory to compensate for the rear dualies...

well then i guess that makes this thread a pimp. which you should know by now is a no-no.

hint: acceptable loophole would be to put a link in your sig that directs people to your own web page where you can sell whatever you want.
