what is a warn 8074 worth???
i will of coarse make sure it works and evrything but i got it for nothing...

I see them sell for $300-450 on eBay and in local papers all the time...

8074 was replaced by the 8274 Same winch, the 8074 doesnt power out IIRC

YEP 8074 that is what I got I do have a 8274 on the front of the heep I love it! I think I might keep it and put it on my trailer for those projects or just in case...

All I can say for certain is that at least SOME 8074's power out. My 8074 powers out, but is does not freespool. It is a great winch. I would only swap mine for a later model 8274-50. Acccording to Warn, mine was made in mid 1976
