I fired a few mags through each this past weekend. I'm considering gettign one but I can't decide which. I liked the trigger on the XD better but the M&P seemed to feel a bit better in my hand. I shot similar groups with each one.
Thoughts?

Easier to fix something that fits well and is comfortable, not so easy to fix something not so comfortable.
M&P, you already awnsered your question IMHO:smokin:

I'm a big fan of the XD's for that very fact, because of how it feels in my hand.
Go with what you are comfortable with, or you'll probably end up getting rid of it.

I like my XD sub compact 9. With that said, I wish I had bought an M&P

Their new polymer uber-pistol. Certain to dethrone the Glock and take the world by storm.

I shoot my xd sub in 9, my wife shoots here m&p in 9 (4").
Booth guns work very well and we haven't had any problems with either.
Outside of that, I wouldn't trade my xd for an m&p and she wouldn't trade her M&P for an xd.
but the xd is better...

So it sounds like it's all preference. Both good guns. Nothing glaringly wrong with either.
Maybe I'll go put another 50 round through each one before I decide. The longer I'm away from the range the more I second guess myself.

Its all what fits YOU.
They are both good guns, you won't go wrong with either one.(but the xd is still better)

I love my XD, but want an M&P. In addition. The XD is better. :smokin:
