I just bought a running and driveable 1974 CJ-6 for a project to work on. I am thinking just do a spring over lift and put some 32" tires on it and wheel it. I will have to do quite a bit of work to get that far so any suggestions on the body would be welcome. I found some 60's CJ-5's in a local yard but the fenders will not be long enough to fit the intermediate CJ so i am thinking just beat them back as square as I can and flat fender this beast. I am only going to use it offroad and looks are of no concern for this rig anyway. Oh yea it is right hand drive

i would not worry too much about the body. concentrate on the mechanical things like the spring over........that will take plenty of time and money. wheel it and have fun:D
