Hey all. Lost a bag of tools in a craftsmen green and black tool bag at Johnson valley on the way to sledgehammer. Lost it yesterday, December 31, 2007. Has some cresent wrenches, latex gloves, vice grips, etc etc. THere were a lot of rigs and quads in the area, anyone know of a decent way to get in touch with quad groups? Thanks a lot to everyone who was so hopeful in wishing me good luck, I found nothing so far. I am with the Polygoats 4WD club. Thanks.

Thats like hoping to find 1 honest person out of 900 people and asking if anyone found the 100 dollar bill you dropped in the middle of the lake bed.

samota - totally agree, but the chance of the 1 in 900 finding it and hoping to return it to its owner is better than the 1 in 1 trillion chance of it getting washed to the ocean in a flash flood and drifting up on shore next to me...so, thought it may be fun to try :-)

I dont know who you guys wheel with, but Im confident if the people I wheel with found a tool bag out there you would see a thread here for "found tool bag"
btw I ran sledge and jack that same day (two seperate trips out that way) and didnt see any tool bag, or hear of anyone finding one.

Thanks for posting, I think it probably looks a LOT like a rock, so someone may find it four years from now :-) I would definetly be out looking for someone if I found one, hopefully optimism pays off.

It all depends on who finds it. If its a crawler out there that does you might see a thread, If its a quader that found it, its long gone... Good luck!
