I have an 88 YJ and i'm putting a CJ hood and grill on it and i'm ditching the fenders, i'm just wondering if i'm gonna have any problems with mud and shit getting up into the motor compartment. I'll be doing some trails in the woods, along with rocks. Give me some input

uh yeh, once you delete inner fenders you will be coating the engine compartment with mud/water and road debris. once you get used to the smell of foreign objects burning on the exhaust etc its ok. just waterproof all the important gagets

I have a '91 YJ without front fenders and I avoid mud and water like the plague just for this reason. If you like to play in the mud, I'd keep your inner's.
