...my first guess would be to look at the title, or the tag on the door jam... :shaking:

Bodywise it's a '66-'72, by the looks of the lockouts it's a F-100.

Does it have push/pull/turn knobs for the heater control or sliding levers?

If you could get a shot of the grille, that would nail it if its original. All 67-72's had a different grille. Not one the same like 73 to 79 which only had 3 styles with very minor differences within those 3 styles(73-75, 76/77 and 78/79).

If its all metal, its 67 to 69. 67 had an even pattern of lines from top to bottom. 68/69 has a center horizontal strip that seperates the top and bottom "sections" of lines. 68 has the vertcals blacked out, 69 you can see all the bars, vertical and horizontal.

70 was the first plastic insert grille. It was made up of an even pattern of squares throughout.

71/72 were the start of the big seperations of spaces and not all of the smaller square or rectangular sections. 71 had 2 vertical bars per side, 4 total not counting the sides or center, and 72 had 1 vertical bar per side. 2 total.

Go to ebay and search F-100 for years 67 through 72, then F-250, then F-350 if you still want to see more. There will be tons of pictures. Bear in mind that by now many of the grilles will be swapped, but you should see enough of one year that are right to be able to tell the odd balls.

So far everyone is correct. 67 to 72 F-100, 4WD. Double check for leaf spring front and 8 lugs, but that looks like a 1/2 ton front hub.

Dat be a 70. I should have said 1 piece per side. All the 70-72's were split side to side instead of top to bottom.

There were no changes to any major parts from 67 to 72, so any parts should swap. Obviously some chassis parts won't swap between 1/2 tons and 3/4 tons, or between 2WD and 4WD, but those are limited to the chassis and drivetrain, and are not major.

Yep.

Also, the vin is stamped on the top of the frame on the right (passenger) side. It's probably not too easy to see, but if you scrape the crust off with a wire brush it should be visible.
