Definitely good words of advise. Measure, Measure, Tack, Measure.

Looks like he is running the same TG 5" springs I got as well. Hopefully he will post pics and/or measurements.

Zman, give me a call or PM me, I will get some dimensions on another rig I have around here. If those are not put in the correct spot, it can make your rig act horribly. You should of seen how many times I flopped my rig this past WEROCK season because I didn't have my inboard mounts in the right spot.

So now you're blaming your bad driving on spring mounts?:shaking:

Zman, Brett put these together for me. So he definately can tell you where they should be placed.

It's better than me blaming my bad driving on where YOU out the inboard mounts!:flipoff2::flipoff2:

That rig stuck to anything with the way you had the springs setup when I bought it. After I put off-the-shelf springs on, my shackle angle was ridiculous!

I should have pushed the inboard mounts further toward the front of the car, but I was too lazy!

Are you still working on this thing? Do you still have it?

Technically No, I am not working on it. I have not made any sunbstantial progress in over a year.

Yes, I still have it and all of the parts to finish it...it will get finished one day.

What can I say, priorities shift, life happens...when I have time, I don't have money and when I have money, I don't have time.

Any updates on this build? Is it still in build mode?

Yes I've made progress, I just haven't posted in a while.

The fire wall, dash, pedals and floor are in, the motor and drive train is in, seat mounts are in, gas tank mount is in, I need to build shock mounts and hood bars, wire, plumb...and all the small stuff.

I'm going to take a week off this fall to try to wrap it up. Its been too hot to work on it this summer.
