: Ultimate Ftoy vacation

I'm posting this in Ftoy because I'd like to limit the responses to people that I sorta know and trust and see things from an Ftoy perspective.

In June of 2008 my wife and I will have been married for 25 years.:D Originally we/she wanted an island vacation but for some reason that has morfed into a "head west and see what happens" trip.........fine with me! So my plan is to pack the "as of yet not aquired but coming in the next 2 months" 40' enclosed gooseneck with the Ftoy, a Honda Civic that we use as a comuter, a dual sport motorcycle, our mountain bikes, camping gear, dogs, etc, and go West. I'll hit I-40 and stop when I see somethig I like. Moab would be good on bikes and in the Ftoy. We've never been to Vegas. Rubicon? We have friends in Albequerque?

Suggestions would be appreciated. Invitations would be awesome as there's no better way to see an area than with a knowledgable guide. We will have almost 3 weeks for this trip. June may not be the best time but that's when we're taking it.

Stop by Barstow and wheel the Calico mts. not anything to hardcore but a lot history there and you can camp in the canyons for free or Calico ghost town has campsites w/hook ups. From there its not far to the hammers
I,ll bet one of the tin benders would show you some sweet trails

Sounds like a fun trip! It's a little hot at the Hammers in June but we can take you out there anyway. If nothing else we can wheel at night.

To make that trip and not be able to hit the Hammers would be unforgivable. That's definitely on the list. I'll be sure to get in touch with you guys as soon as the adgenda is set.

Dude at the rate you've been going there's no telling where you'll be in June:flipoff2:

I have some pics from this weekend. There was a giant muddy motocross track at Flat Nasty that we whipped the Ftoys on:D Apparently the track bar wasn't welded to the rear axle very well??!!:homer: Story and pics to follow.

Clayton OK will break anything you have.

Wheel in snow in Colorado.

Then defrost in AZ. and break it again.

If you come this far north, I'd be happy to host you in MT. Decent wheelin', decent mtn biking, incredible hiking and camping, and it's the best month for whitewater--we can take you rafting.

How wide and tall is your enclosed trailer? Got it yet? I'm considering dumping my deck trailer and going enclosed for the ftoy.

Currently have a 20' enclosed Pace which is barely big enough for the Ftoy, tools, pitbike, and spares. I have squeezed in a big Honda 4 wheeler but it was tight. I have a tool cart and a workbench in the front of the trailer that takes up some room. If those were relocated then a 4 wheeler and the rig would be no problem.

Will pruchase a 42' or 44' enclosed in the next month or so. I need enough space for a small bathroom (requirement if I want my wife to go on any more trips), 2 rigs, spares, pitbike, etc. I'll install a small rooftop a/c-heat unit, couple cabinets, a microwave and a mattress over the gooseneck. We'll be set for any trip that comes up.:D

My brother has first dibs on the current 20' trailer but if he doesn't want it then it'll be for sale.
