No, I am going to go with the 42's.

I do not want to have a 20" wide tire, that is just to big, plus I still have a pee pee 44 in the front, not like the 42" tire is any more forgiving than the 44" but it makes me feel a little better!!

Man rockbound, 42's are a little much for a D44. I watched a guy on 39 boggers bust both front ujoints and the drivers inner & outer Yesterday. Warn shafts & premium hubs and a Lockright. He is running a straight 6. Oh yeah it was on a 78 F150 though. Bad part he wasnt even on it at all. He pulled into the creek and Snap crackle Pop, it was all over!

Ya I know, believe me, I break a u-joint in that front end every trip now WITH 36" TIRES, SO what difference does it make what tire size i run?

I will be ordering a hybrid HP ford nine dana 60 very soon!

The inner fenders are going to go back in when it is done. The tubing is going to be the new fenders/flares and exoskeleton. I was sick and tired of ripping flares off of my rig and mashing fenders.
