Alright, this ought to open a can of worms but here it goes. I've got a 90 Classic and I want to use if for a little harder wheeling than the back roads. It currently has an OME heavy duty spring lift but in a few short months it has sagged down considerably. I've heard good things about OME and maybe I just got a bad one, but what would you guys recomend as far as lift kits go? I don't want to spend a ton of money(I know what lift kits cost but I am still trying to keep it under 1500 complete) and I only want to run 33" tires(so I don't have to worry about my axles). What do you all think?

I have the OME too, and mine has sagged quite a bit, especially in the rear, stupid thing looks like a 4runner now. The cheapest route for 33's would probably be some RTE 2" springs, and RTE body lift. That should give you enough room for 33's without having to deal with driveline vibrations. It would also save you about 1000 from your budget, that could be spent on other toys for your Rangie.
Your only other option is to go for about 4" of suspension lift, but if you do that you'll be needing new front and rear links, front driveshaft, and alot of other stuff, and you'll use up all of that 1500 and then some.

I have always been an anti-body lift person. I'm always afraid they will pull the body mounts out. Are they stronger on Rover than other vehicles. Also, I hate the space between the bumper and the body when you do a body lift.

The Rovers have 10 body mounts, and the RTE bodylift is very well made, so I don't think you have much to worry about pulling out body mounts. My friend has the bodylift on his Rangie and has not experienced any problems, I also have the RTE bodylift, but haven't had a chance to install it yet (damn you work:mad: !). I think the best person to comment on this would be John, I'm sure he can give you all the info you'd want.
As far as the gap between the body and bumper, it's barely noticable, and honestly I kinda like it.
Here's a pic of John's Disco with the bodylift

The only problem I have with the RTE body lift is mine didn't include any decals for my truck:( :flipoff2:

RTE springs are definitely the way to go. I've had them on my DSII for over a year now with no sagging what-so-ever. His products are top notch and his customer service is second to none. Call John.
