I'm looking for info for swapping a 10 bolt front end into a CJ-7. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.:usa:

Why a 10 bolt? You want it narrowed, or stay full width? Shackle reversal at the same time? You like questions instead of answers? ;)

I went with a 10 bolt because the price was right. $130 for 10 bolt front and 12 bolt rear out of a 83 K5 Blazer.. I plan on keeping them full width. I hadn't planned on doing a shackle reversle, but do plan on spring overing it.

theres a reason those axles were so cheap...

IMO a earlier 10 bolt front at least isnt even worth its weight as a boat anchor. later ones were essentially the same as a D44 front. the 12 bolt rearend is a decent axle, and not too bad depending on what you will use your jeep for.

but you will regret using that 10 bolt till the day you die, the only thing you are gaining over your D30 is width.

Search around online - putting it under your Jeep is as simple as just building outboard hangers for the wider spring perches up front.

I found one site so far about outboard spring hangers. Thanks.
