Wheeled all the mild trails the first day. No camera. Planned to take it Sunday on the hardest trails.
Decided to run the first difficult trail Saturday night at dusk. After three vehicles could not make it over the first ledge I gave it a try. After 15-20 mins of trying I think I had the perfect line. Then POW. As I attempted to steer left and line up on the next rock the Steering arm studs broke. 1hr later we are loaded up and sipping cool ones by the fire.
Sorry no Pics.
Six shooter or heavy duty studs. I cant decide.

I think if you comp. you can't use but 4 of the 6 studs. We was thinking the same thing. Not sure which way to go, but prob. the harden studs

No problem removing a few studs for comps.
I am wondering if the hard studs will solve the problem?
I may even consider tack welding the arms on for now and doing six shooters when that fails.

If you are not competing do both and forget about it. :flipoff2:

I will be competing.
My understanding is that 6 shooters are OK. Just remove the 2 extra studs.
